At the Let’s Battle Cancer Together Foundation, we believe that no one battles cancer alone. We strive to bring awareness to our communities that cancer can affect anyone at any stage in life and we are here to help them through their toughest moments with love, compassion and a helping hand along the way.
If you or someone you know needs assistance, please download and have your oncologist complete the Certification of Need for Financial Assistance.
Since founded in 2024, we have provided more than $35,000 in support. There are currently more than 65 people on the waiting list in Bowie County and surrounding areas and, as more are diagnosed daily, that number continues to grow.
Our efforts are supported by fundraisers, sponsors and community donations. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible. Since all of our board and team members are volunteers, our overhead is low which means at least $0.95 of every $1 we raise goes to those in need.
OUR MISSION
Through this dual approach of immediate family support and investment in education, the Let’s Battle Cancer Together Foundation seeks to create a lasting impact on our community, fostering hope and resilience in the face of cancer.
OUR VISION
Inspired by local cancer survivor Charlie Clark, the Let’s Battle Cancer Together Foundation embodies the spirit of community support and education. When approached with the idea of a fundraiser in his honor, Charlie selflessly redirected the focus to benefit all families battling cancer in our community. Charlie’s vision extends beyond immediate assistance alone, looking forward to the future by establishing a scholarship program for local high school seniors. The Let’s Battle Cancer Together Foundation encompasses two key initiatives: the Scholarship Program and the Family Fund.
